In the best years of my life they say so I have determined to lose this weight by the time I am 55 and my hubby retires! I am feeling better than ever with all the activities I am doing so here's hoping I can shed those 80 lbs in 18 months.

Over the decades I have tried every diet imaginable and the only time one really worked was years ago and it was Atkins. Too bad it has taken me so long to get back to it.

Lack of Appetite
Actually I have the same problem. I am in my third week of Atkins and have absolutely no hunger! I work really hard to get up past 1100 calories because I know on Atkins you must eat almost the max. However in this induction phase I just can't get in enough net carbs or calories. I am not a big meat eater since I was a Vegetarian for years but am working hard to get the protein in every meal and I definately have the vegies in. I guess on the good side I have never ever in all my years of trying to lose weight ever had this problem. Usually I was starving and craving.
