I am sooooo excited. Got up this morning and I had to pee so badly my whole body hurt. I knew that meant it was happening, and the scale showed it. Day 3 and 1.98 pounds down, Loose the sodium and the water retention stops. Can't wait until the end of the week 1 when I hope to figure out how to drop carbs from my diet and still go super low on sodium. If that is not possible, then I will stick to low sodium. It is a great morning :)
Now I am bummed, I wanted to have a low carb breakfast this morning. I enter what I want to eat before I eat it, and the sodium was way high just for 2 fried eggs with no fat. I had no idea that a fresh product like eggs could have that much sodium. I am going to research it.
Okay according to 2 sites I went on including another place than add food on this web site eggs (large fried) have 68 mg of sodium, so why when I enter it as a food item did it jump to 446 for 2 eggs?

Today is Day 2. I had to go back and fix my diet Calendar as I was entering after midnight and got the dates wrong. I will have to watch that. I wish my pool was not so cold, I would love to do some water aerobics. Y'll bet doing them in cold water will burn more calories.
Temptations are hard. I was just asked to take my girl to McD. Thank goodness I just ate lunch. Now to avoid my downfall... Chocolate milkshake.
It is 9:30 PM and Halloween is done. I did not eat a single piece of candy, even though I had calories left candy is not the right kind. There is a first for everything and having 400 candy bars in front of me and not eating a single one, well that is a first.

Yesterday was my first day, writing this after midnight :). I watch the Biggest Loser and eat crazy stuff. Right now my activity level is low due to spinal tumors, but that is no excuse for gaining so much weight.
Back to the Biggest Loser, which is what has gotten me started. their "commercials" for Progresso, Jennie O and subway has me puzzled.
The trainers are always about the sodium intake, the calorie intake has to be at a certain level to fuel the body to move forward. All three of the above are huge on sodium. I did find a good salad at subway, low sodium but then real low in calories.
I did the research maximum is 2,300 mg, recommended is 1,500 mg. I have to find the right combination.
I can not come close to my calorie intake with out going triple the maximum on sodium.
