One day into the Special K challenge, I realized that I was not going to make it 2 weeks. I was starving by the time I was done with lunch and had 2 hours until I could have a snack (which was not filling either). I am going to continue eating the bars or drinking the shakes for breakfast. They work really well since I usually eat in the car on the way to work. I also found that on Sunday (the day I work splits at work) a meal bar was good enough to tide me over until I got home and could eat dinner.
One think I am going to commit myself to is I will bring my lunch to work for the rest of the month. Today is my grocery shopping day, so I will make sure to get some things that will work well to bring to work for lunch. I am going to have to remember to put my lunch together before I go to bed each night, but I need to come up with a better night routine for myself anyway so that I can get ready faster in the morning and maybe get a little more sleep. I am making no guarantees as far as how often I will report. I have realized that it is hard for me to get on the computer everyday to even log what I eat. I know that eventually I am going to need to keep some kind of food journal. Maybe I will pick one up while I am at the store this afternoon...

I have decided to try Special K's program starting Friday (because I won't have time to get to the store until tomorrow afternoon). I am a bit nervous because I have not had much luck with liking meal bars or shakes in general, but I have heard that theirs are good. Heck, it is only for 2 weeks. If I don't like it, I can stop. If I do like it and like the results, I can continue. I'll be crossing my fingers!

I didn't have a lot of expectations this week. We ate out a lot over the weekend. I have decided that this week I am going to record everything I eat and then look at what needs to be changed. I know I will probably be grossed out by my habits, but maybe that is what needs to happen.

Well, the start of my period made me loose 2 pounds. My pants are still tight, and I still feel huge. I need to figure something out to really loose weight.
