I was a decent weight as a teenager. At 20, I started gaining weight and didn't really know why. When I was 21 I was diagnosed with a low thyroid. I have been struggling with my weight ever since. About a year and a half ago I was doing great with losing until my husband and I went through a really rough patch. I learned from that experience that I needed to change a lot of things fast. I went back to work after eight years of staying home with my kids, started going to school online, and started working on my marriage. Somewhere in there I gained twice what I lost. It is time to focus on me again. The hard part is learning how.

I'm with doozy65 here. I used to get compliments on my legs all of the time. I would LOVE to have my muscular legs again instead of these flabby ones.
My main goal, though, is to look good by the time my divorce is final. I want him to regret the day he cheated on me!

The Insulin-Resistance Diet
Has anyone tried this one? I just downloaded the book yesterday, and I am in part 2. So far, it sounds like the answer I need, but it is not listed on here as a diet.

what do you eat after a workout?
I usually work out on the way home from work which is around 5am so I have some water, go home, and go to bed.
