I have an obsession with Chocolate. Big time. Last Friday day I picked up a gigantic 2.5lb bag of mini-size candy bars. As of a few minutes ago, I've only had 5 pieces. FIVE. I could easily eat the whole thing in one sitting, but now I'm taking teeny bites and making each one last as long as possible.
I get the feeling that in the coming months I'm going to be relying on water much more than normal. I already go through 15 gallons a month (thanks, Deer Park!), might have to up that to 20. I can't imagine being someone who hates water. Must be tough.
So tonight I have my introductory gym workout thing. I don't really want to go, but I have an appointment so yeah. Nothing like guilt to motivate! This guy supposedly specializes in weight loss, so I'm at least curious to see what he'll tell me about. Especially since I want to take it easy on my right knee.
Hooray for rambling, it feels good to get it out of my head. :)

Weight Watchers was interesting. It's basically a hug box for people, which, when you're attempting a task like weight loss, isn't a bad thing. The meeting was short, apparently people get stickers for good things? It was pretty much go in, if people had a good week they say ho much they've lost and everyone claps and that person gets a sticker. Then the leader talks about the "hot issue" of the week. Yesterday's was Salad.
So meeting ended, I got my daily point allowance (40), did the new member thing, now I'm putzing around seeing if I can track both points and calories.
The comparison is intriguing. I was under my daily calories yesterday, but over my points. Then again I did order Chinese, and "Carbs are bad, mmkay?" for WW. But I think I did the take-out well, as soon as I got it I portioned out serving sizes for the soup and lo-mein. Apparently there was enough lo-mein for three meals! Hooray!
So anyway. Also signed up for the gym, and the location-only price was $30/mo less than the regular plan, which allows you access to all their locations. Score! Next week I get back into my classes where the elderly shame me with their flexibility and in-shape-ness. :)

Yesterday was interesting. I failed on my rule about not skipping breakfast - Fridays are "Bagel Fridays" at work. I thought I'd grab one, but I got so tied up with actual work stuff that I just... forgot.
And then last night I went pretty much right from work to a concert, so no actual dinner. Not really sure how to put calories in for the (tiny) brownie and the pies, but I did my best.
Today's my first Weight Watchers meeting, I'm a bit pumped. No idea what it'll be like, I have images of an AA-esque type gathering.
"Hi, I'm Desert Dessert and I'm an overeater."
