Hello everyone. I have been watching my weight for as long as I can remember. I tried not to make it such a big deal in my life but I realized that it needs to be a big deal. The older I get the wiser I become and everyday something new and profound pops in my head. I am now making my health a top priority in my life. I have lost a good bit of weight before joining this site but it was hard because there is know one in my life that fully understands what I going through. I hope to find some like minded people on this site and find the support and friendship that everyone needs and wants. I now have new dreams of becoming a writer and I hope that this year will be the year that I get my health under control and and get a book published even if I have to self publish to start off. I wish everyone the best of luck in whatever your journey and dreams my be!

Hi Lily, try doing 7 calories per pound (231 x7) and try that RDI. Most of the time those are set to maintain your weight. (My Doctor told me that)Try it and to see how it feels. Good luck!

Overwelmed!!!!!!
Is anyone else out there overwelmed and over consumed with dieting? I am exausted and tired of thiking about it. I catch myself talking about it ALLL the time to anyone who will listen. I am not tired of trying to do the right thing and be healthy but gheesh!!!

needing a buddy
Count me in. One can never have enough support. I am determined to do it and make it my lifestyle.I am new to the site as well but I committed and focused this time. I have lost 75lb in the past year and now I am stuck. I am open to any and all suggestions. If I can help anyone in any way let me know!!!

Exercise and gain weight??
Thanks ladies, I must not be eating enough calories. My diet is low carb and salt. If I add up the calories it might be about 1200-1400 calories a day.I lost 75lbs on that diet (given to me by a nutritionist)before joining FS that was a year ago. SO I guess I need to look into changing it. Any suggestions? How often should I run/jog?

Thanks Cheeto, I really hope that's it. I am determined to become a runner/jogger. Its is harder than I thought. People make it look easy.
