I am a 39 year old Mother to four beautiful daughters. I am not obese and most people tell me I don't need to lose any weight at all, but I'm in the military and my maximum weight for my height (5'9") is 169 pounds. I'm 170! I think I feel/look my best around 140, but my goal (for now) is 150. More than losing weight, I really want to get this exercise thing under control. The military is becoming more strict about fitness and running 1.5 miles is difficult for me every time I have to do it. I always say that Me and Running don't belong in the same sentence. But, I would like to change that story. I would love to train my body to run 3 miles so that the mile and a half seems like a piece of cake! In the process, if I can shed some pounds, that would be fantastic. I am hopeful that this forum will motivate me to stick with it! :)
