I had about 80 kids here last night. I love to see kids dressed up in their costumes.Parents are more cautious, too, even with the older kids, parents were with them. I even had some older teenagers! I got a kick out of that. My poor little dog was going crazy. At the end of trick or treating he took a long nap! LOL! I got rid of ALL my candy. I had a little left over, but I gave it to the neighbor kids!! It is hard to resist that candy.
Today I'm going to a birthday party for a 9 year old!!

Yesterday, 2 of my friends and I went to dinner. One friend, I hadn't seen for over 6 months. We had chinese. Love Chinese and Mexican. We ended up being in the restaurant for 3 hours just talking and a lot of reminising. We all used to work at the same place and lost our jobs when it closed, a little over 2 years ago. Luckily, the restaurant wasn't busy and they didn't care, just kept refilling our diet cokes and water. It was so much fun!
I forgot to look yesterday, but I'm going to try again, to find a calorie counter. I may just go back on weight watchers, I have the points books for them.!
We're expecting more rain, today. I'm getting ready to take off and go see my stepDad and then home for the rest of the day!!

I lost a pound, but I'm still swollen, so it could be more! It's chilly this morning, but going to 68. The weather is so crazy. Instead of El Nina or El Ninio (however you spell it) this is El Crazio

I'm so shocked. Today, I went to Burger King and instead of getting the Whopper special, I got the tendercrisp chicken thinking it'd be less or the same calories as the whopper. When I came on here and looked it up, EEEEEEK, it is almost 200 calories more than the whopper!
Do they have calorie counters you can carry in your purse, that gives the calorie count for various restaurants? I was absolutly stunned, I won't make that mistake again.
I was on the go ALL day today, but it felt good!!

I was just reading some of the journals and it dawned on me. I did quit smoking 7 months ago when I had this surgery. MAYBE, that's why I want to eat all the time? I never thought I'd quit. I had smoked for 48 years. I don't have much taste though, because of the surgery, but I'm told it will come back. So anyway, knowing that part of my problem can be because of quitting smoking, makes me feel better.
