I hope I am estimating my calories burned at Muay Thai accurately or at least conservatively. I googled it a few times, and I keep seeing estimates like 800-900 calories in an hour, but I assume that would be if you were doing constant rounds, rather than watching the demos and holding pads in between, so I am using 400 calories an hour. I certainly feel like I get a kick-ass workout every time I go.

Today I am counting even less because with my injured shoulder I won't be doing push-ups, burpees or sprawls. I can't support my weight on my arms to do anything with push-up position. I am not sure about the sprinting, but I will try doing it without pumping my arms so hard. It will slow me down, but I am hoping if I don't blow the shoulder out during the warm up, I won't have to box with my left hand only, like last time.
