Heck yeah! Two months later my cholesterol is down 40 points! It's still at 204, so it's not perfect, but I'm thrilled. I didn't feel like I was living a very unhealthy diet before, so when my doctor asked me how I accomplished the reduction I said, "Not much." But I have made daily changes and perhaps they added up:

-I'm not taking low fat milk in my coffee every day.
-I snack on Oat Squares cereal at work or when I have night time urges for something sweet
-I've given up having cheese on every sandwich and I've bought lower-fat cheese for when I sprinkle it on other dishes.
-I've only been able to fit in one cardio class per week, but one is better than before.

My glucose number was also a relief. 85! I haven't had blood sugar attacks much since I switched to a South Beach-y lifestyle and I'm psyched to see the results on paper.

Next goal: Get the cholesterol below 200 and don't take these numbers as permission to go crazy.
