I've been blessed... never had a weight problem, and people get irritated at me for being thin. But whether you are a size 0 or a size 20, you don't want to outgrow your clothes, which I have done in a bad way. Need to get the thighs and butt jiggle under control. My main problem is being "skinny fat;" I am small, but there is no muscle or stamina anywhere near my body. All soft flab, all over, all the time. Need to muscle up, especially since I am just turning (ugh) f-o-r-t-y. People can be as "hot" at [that age] as in their 20s, and I want to be one of them. Good bye, belly flab!

Instead of trying to prepare a week's menu, have you tried just eating? I'm not trying to sound snarky... what I mean is: On Monday night for dinner, I took a can of garbanzo beans, drained, and mixed it with fat free yogurt, cumin and cilantro. I ate half for dinner, along with half an avocado and some tuna. I packed the other half for lunch (minus the avocado, unfortunately) along with a small yogurt and a string cheese for a snack. Tuesday night, I cooked up some tilapia curry and ate it over spinach, and made double so I could pack the other half for lunch, along with more string cheese and another yogurt for snacks.

I guess what I mean is, have you tried just making meals as you go (quick ones, even) and just eating leftovers for lunch?

I basically follow the principles of the ABS diet, only with lots more vegetables and I don't eat the bread very often. It has been a matter of just collecting the ABS diet recommended foods (you can find those on the internet) and keeping them around. I just sort of mix and match and make it up as I go. SO easy, and much easier (for me) than trying to stress about making "diet meals." It's just the stuff I have on hand, so it's what I eat.

Just a thought...
