I'm a 32yo mom/stepmom to four kids from 6yo to 15yo. I work full time, but my home is my office and my fieldwork is in my clients' homes. It certainly presents unique challenges, heh. I am reunited with my ex-husband; 2 years now and so far, so good. I'm a blogger, and a jewelry maker in the little free time I carve out for myself.
My highest weight was 262lbs. At 5'5", that's a heavy load to carry. Thankfully it's distributed in a way that lets me maraud as a slightly more fit superwoman than I actually am. I'm down to 238lbs right now, 14 pounds of which have vanished since New Years '09, mostly through dumb luck. The last almost five pounds has been thanks to Weight Watchers, but like most other American families, finances are an issue and I can't afford the program. So I'm taking the principles and living by them on my own.
I'm hoping to get down to 175 pounds, which is about a size 12 on my frame. I told you, I am built like a brick house-solid as can be under this thick layer of flab. I'd like to be there by my 33rd birthday, which gives me thirty 2lb loss weeks and a buffer of 5 weeks to allow for the inevitable plateaus.
