I've ignored everything I've learned in the past 5 years, just got so sick of dieting and watching what I ate. Gained over the holidays, as usual, but instead of taking it back off again, plus some, I just kept gaining! Going to try recording my food input online again, see if it helps me drop this extra weight. AGAIN!

GOAL!!!!!
I have wanted to be able to shout that out for SOOO long...I started my journey on 12-27-2012. I hit goal on Wednesday. :-D 55 pounds total lost. For now, I intend to just bask in the glow of success, while I maintain my current weight. Then I'll lower my goal and fine tune my weight...maybe another 5 pounds, see how I look and if I seem to be able to afford it, maybe another 5 after that. lol I'm at the high end of the optimum weight scale for my height, so I do want to drop a bit more.
And I honestly feel that Slimming World is what got me here. I have NO idea how the plan can possibly work, I have NO idea why it works...all I know is that for me, IT WORKS! Never hungry, eating WAY too many calories according to all other weight loss sites, and here I am at goal, with a full belly and feeling fabulous. I've always said that I could do this...well, now I can say I DID IT! SCORE!!!!! :-D

Decided to try the British plan, Slimming World. OMG, it works. SO easy to do, all of my favorite foods are considered FREE foods (PASTA!!!) and I haven't been hungry since I started "food optimizing"! This is honestly a plan I'll be able to stick with for the rest of my life...VERY little counting and weighing, pasta, rice, potatoes are all free foods (eat as much as you want) along with veggies, fruits, and lean meats...and NO MORE FASTING!!! One more pound (probably next week) and I'll be lowering my goal. After 4 years, I've found the plan I can live with!!! YAY!!!
