Today I put on a pair of shorts which I couldn't even do up at the start of the summer. They went on with ease and they are not tight. So I went to measure myself and I have lost three inches off my waist. What a way to start the week!
Now I am ready for some serious work this week. Painting and gardening and throwing out old stuff. Getting ready for my new life. This small success (I am convinced) is due to the support I get on FS and weighing and logging food intake. It has given me the boost I needed. Slowly but surely, the old 'me' is coming back. I am so grateful. Thank you FS friends and take heart. x

I must admit, I have not been eating much. It's wrong, I know but I am just not hungry. Had three drinks last night and that was enough. Get back on track tomorrow and I have lots of work to do at the house. Just wish it would cool down a bit and I had more energy. So much weight to loose but the spirit is willing. There is no negativity in my life. I am very grateful.

Well, I achieved my own mini goal of three weeks without alcohol. I am proud of myself. Off out to the beach bar with friends who are back for the rest of the summer. Should be a fun night and of course I will partake of a beverage or two. Guilt free. Got another night out tomorrow. What can I do? It will be back to the straight and narrow on Monday. I still can't believe how fat I have let myself get. It's as if I have woken up from a dream. But the weight is coming off .................... whether it likes it or not. I will win! D)

Well. I put on a pound and it won't go away. I haven't cheated and am way more active than I was. I eat 1126 calories per day or less and I'm drinking shedloads of water. What can you do? Carry on regardless. No mosquito bites though. D)

I have also given up wheat, red meat (except on special occasions) sugar and processed food (apart from the odd condiment). Tomorrow I am giving up caring about horrible people and what they've done.
