About the time I turned 60, I had a total shoulder joint replacement. I went back to the gym and was contemplating if I would continue such activities. I was approached by IFBB pro bodybuilder and trainer, Chris Faildo who asked me what my intentions were with my training, as if he were reading my mind. With Chris's guidance, I went from about 300 lbs. down to 235 lbs. in a little over a year. I managed to gain back to 278 and will turn 64 years old this month. I came to this site mostly for the references of food values. Oh, at 300 lbs., my waistline was stretching 44". At 235 I was under 38". It's my waistline I am concerned about, not my weight. I live in Honolulu, which is lucky.
