I started my new life change (not a diet) August 1st. I weighed 186 when I started. I decided I was not going to keep gaining. It seemed like every few months I was needing new clothes. I decided to change my life. I started exercising at least 3-5 times a week. I eat 3-6 times a day.It depends on how busy I get. I stay away from bread and sugar. I eat meat vegetables and fruit. I snack on almonds a lot. I always have a can of them. I drink lots of water. I use to hate to drink water. I buy the crystal lite packets and keep cold bottled water ready. I think the biggest thing is getting your mind made up that you are ready for a change. my husband still bakes goodies and I will take a bite of what ever he makes but just a bite. I stayed thin until I hit my 30,s and now I have to work at it. I feel so good I still have some more weight to loose but I am on my way.

Hello Dandelion,
I am also doing my own thing. Just watching what I eat and exercising. Seems to be working and not somthing I will be changing. So hopefully I will not gain it back God willing. I would be glad to be your buddie and help you with encouragment. Good luck

Good luck with your diet. I know I have lost and gained for the last 7 years. I finally realized that dieting was not for me. I would start one program after another. Lost and gained the weight back and then some. So you sound like you are in the right mind set. I got fed up and decided in August when my scales hit 186 to get my but in gear and get the weight off and keep it off. So good luck and welcome

Diet Calendar
When I have put thing in sometimes the food is not there Sometimes the calories are off too. I write in my journal at home it is easier. But when I dont know the calories are the fat it helps with that.
