Day 2- Feeling pretty good today! I have my goals laid out and I have my shopping done and meals planned for the week. Fruit and veggie smoothies bagged and freezing for my breakfasts, salads planned for packed work lunches and Dinners are the calorie killer because hubby is a picky eater and I already know I will not stick to separate suppers. I attempted day 1 of couch to 5k this morning...I made it through 1/2 of the running but then walked out the remainder of the time. Jogging is a surefire way to tell if you have a fat behind...it was like running with a parachute behind me...what a drag. I know it gets easier..I forgot how humbling getting started was. I have certainly mastered couch, I will try again towards 5k Tuesday. I am cheating a bit on fatsecret and using my old IPOARM spreadsheet from my MFP days. I loved MFP and lost a lot of weight there before. I had a few false retarts and have decided lightning can't strike there 2x so FS I am counting on you. I didn't see anyplace to log my measurements in FS and because results motivate me I really wanted to track not only weight but inches too. I also decided to weigh myself everyday because well what better way to kill an appetite. Hi to anyone who read this rambling ...

I figure this as a good of place as any to keep my mini goals and notes.
I know I will not lose 52 lbs in 117 days (at least not in any manageable, sane way).

1st Mini Goal- July 4th-August 22nd (48 days)- Heading to a cabin in the mountains with friends. I would like to gain some stamina between now and then so I can climb the mountain with my buddies. I would love to have lost 11 lbs and gained some signs of muscle tone before the trip (...group hot tubbing). I plan on taking many photos because the mountains are beautiful, I hope to feel less like a mountain myself.

Midway goal: 117 days from now I am cohosting a big halloween bash and will see folks who I have not seen in some time. Seems like a good time frame for a weight goal ...I would like to lose 34 lbs before the event. It would be fun to see if anyone notes the change.

Final Goal: World peace!
