Losing 4 lbs has been quite journey for me. I have been eliminating sweets and junk food totally. Do I crave these things? Yes very meuch so. When I get home from work, I really want to grab something to munch on....no not veggies but something sweet. I think it is because I am tired and having something sweet gives me the strength to keep going. I have to really fight the urge to grab something. I know I will never look like I did in my 20's & 30's but it would be nice to see that scale move down a few notches. Ok I saw it now but it will be interesting what happend ove the next week or two.

I can't seem to keep on track. I do well through the week but not on weekends. Maybe I am just not ready to do this.I know it is difficult to lose weight as you get older but I can't seem to lose much at all. I go down 2 lbs then back up. I have added Zumba for exercise. I guess I am tagged as an emotional eater. Help!!!! Perhaps summer for me is not a good time to lose weight. I know losing weight is hard anytime but I feel with vacationing and summer parties it just gets me off track every time. Sept is here and I am on my last week of vacation so I am going to get back on track next week. I make this promise to myself. I also have to remember that because I am 50 my body is not going to look like it did when I was 25. Afterall I need to be realistic.

Today I thought was a good day. I had a greek yogutrt for breakfast, a salad, fat free yogurt and 1/4 cup of raspberries for lunch. Supper began ok bowl of vegetable soup, half a turkey sandwich. The I had 4 girl guide cookies. Bad bad bad! I went to Zumba for an hour wich was very intense workout, but I had a lot of fun. I wished I never had those darn cookies. Tomorrow will be different.
