i've found that if you trick your body a little, you wont ever hit a plateau.well i hit one about 2 weeks ago when my weightloss just stopped. i went through my diet and thought hmmmm, theres nothing i do differently. the key is to figure out how much carb your body can take to not gain weight, i can eat up to 80g carbs a day, if i go past that, i stall, if i stay at 80, im still losing a pound a week, which is fine with me. now if you are trying to lose more quickly then this method may not work for you...method: every 5 to 6 days have a carb day, not to eat a bunch of junk, and pig out on bread. but you have a favorite treat, then up your carbs for that day, but try and focus on whole grains, veggies and fruit carbs, then do this for a day or two, then resume your low carb eating plan for 5 or 6 days then have a carb day again, this will keep your body wondering what the heck are you doing. doing this method is how i found out I can eat 80g of carbs per day and still lose a pound a week, to lose more per week i simply lower my carbs, or trick my body by doing induction for a week or two. hope its been helpful....be blesses

Hi BreeJones, What you are doing is CKD or a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet. I've heard/read that this sort of diet produces far greater results when mixed with weight training and intermittent fasting. Haven't tried it myself so can't be sure if it works.
