Just remember, you did accomplish something by knowing what you were eating and what it did (time of the month doesn't help at all either). Now you can see that you are breaking bad habits by looking back. Keep up the good work and you will do fine!

One diet/eating plan that really worked for me is counting calories. The pros are you can eat whatever you want. The negative side is you have to count calories, fat and carbs. However, the more you do it, the easier it gets. I even brought this device called CalorieSmart which does all the work for you and fits in my purse. You determine how many calories you want to intake a day (also breakdown grams of fat and carbs). Then you must stick to it. What usually happens is you learn very quickly, that if you keep eating too many sugary foods or fats - that you use up all your daily calories too fast. So then what I did was try to eat good during the day, so I could enjoy at least one treat in the evening / afternoon. I liked this because I had the flexibility to eat what I wanted. Oh, one more thing, you lose weight a slower pace. But that is ok for most if you are looking for long term changes. I like the Fat Smash Diet because it is quick and flushes out your system naturally without processed foods. But it does take more will power than other diets/ meal plans. I just wanted you to know there's other systems out there that do work! Good luck!
