I also didn't have much improvement this week, I think I'm eating more than I realize, have to closely monitor my intake. Also have to exercise more. Hang in there!!

aw, sorry to hear it. if you're not eating significantly more than what your diet calendar shows, that might be why. When you go really low-cal, your metabolism slows down to help keep you going. just a thought. good luck!

i am not able to find all items i am eating in the food menu..and when i am using my Mac laptop...it wont let me add new foods...only select from pre-existing ones....so my foods eaten arent 100 percent correct....however....cindylynn..im on a medically supervised diet that is very restricted. Its a clinic called Dr Bernstein Medical Clinic. I only eat under 800 cals a day....and i am supplemented with b12 and b6 injections and these mega vitamins that help to make sure that i amgetting the daily nutrients my body needs. Its not for everyone...but the idea behind it is...that it rapid weight loss....and then a maintenance program once you have reached your goal weight range....where you gradually reintroduce foods week by week. Its radical and comes under criticism..but i have tried everything else to lose this fastly accumulatiing weight..and so this was a shot for me.

oh, okay, well good luck with it. everyone has to find what works for them and if it works for you then I am hppy for you. I was just trying to help but I didn't know about this dr. bernstein diet that you speak of.

thanks cindylou...and i thank you for trying to help....didnt mean to sound rude if i did! you were quite right to flag my low intake....it isnt good to undereat! and i worried when embarking on this diet about just that...however after investigating with the clinic i felt ok to try it ...as long as i commit to the year maintenance program that follows the weight loss....i think that will be key..reintroducing the foods once the weight is lost. For me getting the weight off quick was more of a health issue...i have been suffering with Plantar Fascititis....in my feet...and losing weight to relieve the pressure on them is something that is supposed to give me some relief...its been so painful...that this has been my main incentive in shedding very fast. hows your diet going cindy??? and thanks again for offering your opinion..sometimes on email etc..the way you word things can seem different than you intend...so wanted to make sure i clarified..ok? thanks!

oh yes, it is so easy for misunderstandings in email. but no, I did not think you had been rude at all and I was more worried that I had been. it sounds like you are on the right plan for you. I guess I have my radar on bc there are people on here who are anorexic and others heading in that direction. but I really hope this works for you so you can get some relief for your feet! my diet is going well, i think. I was really happy with the scale yesterday but today my weight is back up a bit. but i think it is just scale fluctuations. Anyway, thanks for making a point to clarify even though you had not been rude. have a great day!
