First week back on Weight Watchers, and I'm down 2 pounds. I wish it were more, because the week was a BIG TIME struggle for me. But I've done it and now need to get many more weeks under my belt. When I realize I have 40 pounds to lose, and at the absolute MOST I'll lose 2 pounds per week, I get discouraged about a) how rigid and diligent I'll have to be and b) how long it'll take.

But whatever. I'm in a better place this week than I was last week, and I have to focus on that. So I will. For today, anyway.
212.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 42.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Two pounds is great! Don't get discouraged, you made it through the week with success and weight loss!!! Keep your focus and tackle the next week... and try not to think about all the weeks in front of you just concentrate on this week and being the best you can be! I always try to remember that I didn't gain this weight in two weeks so it takes time and we deserve to be healthy!!! KEEP IT UP! You CAN do it!

Don't get discouraged! You are doing great! And 2 pounds a week is fantastic! If you keep that up you will be at your goal by June! Isn't that exciting? I sure think so. Keep going! You can do this!

2 pounds is the average norm. That's awesome. I haven't lost anything, so feel good. Just keep at it and take it day by day. The weight will come off. Just keep counting those points. Remember, the weight did not come on overnight, nor will it come off that way. Stick with it and as the pounds melt off, You'll be even more encouraged to keep going. I've been there!! Great Job

I totally understand your feelings and how you can feel discouraged at times! I was feeling the same way the other day and then my friend (who is going through this with me) gave me a great quote; "Nothing tastes as great as being thin feels!" This gets me through the day, especially when I'm having bad cravings! Take each meal at a time and pretty soon it won't be so hard!
