first day back on here..its been 3 weeks since i had my last cigarette and i have not been craving them at all...occasionally i sit there and wonder how long i wont smoke for but i try to think of something else cause thats what i do with everyting including losing weight and thats one of the main reasons i end up failing.. its like i'm setting myself up to fail by doubting what i feel like i cant achieve.. well anyways i'm back all i can do is try i know that one of these times it will be the last battle and this is really starting to look like it... me being at the mall and just feeling so down about my appearence is just stuck in my head and everytime i'm like man i wish i could eat this or that.. i think about the way i felt that day..
202.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Just hang in there. Congrats on the not smoking for 3 weeks. I read somewheres a while back that when a person stops smoking for a week, their body actually starts to repair & heal itself from the effects of smoking. It also said that by 3 weeks, the body will have repaired itself to the point where it may add another 5 to 7 years to life. And so & so on as a person continues not to smoke. At 3 to 5 years of not smoking, the body can heal & repair itself to the point where you couldn't even tell the person had ever smoked. Amazing! If I find that article I'll send you the link. And don't get down about your appearance. You're a very beautiful woman. When it comes to food, try to focus on foods that are good for you and won't bring you down after eating it. Overall, feel good about what you're doing...you're actually doing something to make yourself healthier. Something that over half of Americans aren't doing! You can do it!

Imagery works for me too. I know that I don't want to go back to where I was. That is my motivation.
