This is the tough part of Atkins for me. I am up 1 pound for no apparent reason. I lose weight so fast in the beginning, then slow right down. I know I need to get into an exercise routine. The good thing with Atkins is I could wake up in the morning 3 pounds lighter...it's crazy. Hopefully this isn't a plateau already!
178.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 33.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi there. A plateau is considered a solid month of no loss. Its in Atkins New Revolution book somewhere. You know, last time I did this diet a month ago, I had a simple cookie craving and also hadnt lost and even gained slightly...so I gave in and indulged on my carb fix. Dont let a little bump slow you down...b/c there is nothing like starting all over again. Good luck! Im gonna need it too since Im on day 3 all over again!

i've been there...yeah it is frustrating, but like you said, if you stick with it you'll wake up one day 3lbs lighter and say "ok how did that happen?"...lol

When on the weight loss phases of Atkins in the past I had many weeks where I didn't lose any weight whatsoever but lost like 2 inches, talk about crazy. I finally realized that it all makes for a smaller me so I was happy about it. The weird part is that I wasn't doing any major exercise, just walking a couple of miles most days. When I was on a low fat diet I had to do weight training to lose inches like that. Here's hoping that I wake up 3 pounds lighter tomorrow LOL!! Hang in there, you could have taken in a bit too much sodium yesterday and that is why you are up. Also, did you drink all of your water? You CAN do it so keep at it.

I've been there! Tomorrow you may be down 3. I gained today too! It's a crazy roller coaster ride if you allow it to work on you!
