😐 I guess it was the DQ. Doh! I have to think starve, I guess. if I'm hungry and starving...maybe I'll lose. Or I could pull a VM Varga...not.
276.4 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 36.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.8 lb a week

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I hate how we live in a culture where "starving"="losing". Just making healthier choices and swaps have helped me a ton. Reaching for fresh fruit over a chocolate bar, or making sure to get that cup of vegetables with every meal, and don't expect these changes to happens overnight. You got this!

When I started tracking everything, I started finding ways to get the flavors and textures I wanted with fewer calories. It has helped me a lot! You can do it! Do you plan your meals...and some 'treats'? I have to plan, and pack stuff to take to work, or the candy jar will get me every time. Don't give up! :)

I've been at this awhile. I've had good success counting calories..I just don't stick with it. junk food and inactivity is what I need to change. knowing is only half the battle.

I agree with you on that. Intellectually, we can know what needs to be different, and why, and how it will help, and positive outcomes, but action/behavior is a whole different aspect. What sort of plan do you have? Are you trying to lower calories overall, lower fat, lower carbs? There is a "junk food workaround" for almost everything, so that you can have something similar that will help satisfy those cravings. If you are willing to share what kind of eating you're trying for, I'm happy to share anything I know that might help. I've been at this a while too. :)

Never starve. Just substitute. I've lost 55 pounds that way so far, and still going. You got this....
