Week 3 of the Extreme Fat Smash Diet by Ian Smith. Going really well. I have been following the diet about 98%. I haven't been adding additional exercise since I have a very physical job and am active about 7 hours of the day. Seems to be working so far. When Greg left for NM I weighed 124 (more or less) and I'm counting that as my starting weight. He's been gone 5 weeks and I've lost a 6.4 pounds, I think that's pretty good!
Keeping really busy working full time, keeping up with my house and dogs and taking 2 evening classes and my knitting group. Greg will be home for a visit hopefully the beginning of May and my goal is to lose about 7 more pounds. That's about a pound a week - totally doable!

What is the deal with the Fat smash diet anyway. Is it just a meal plan, a low fat thing, I low carbs thing?

08 - I'll try to take a picture this weekend. I was thinking about posting my before, my now and then my goal picture.
run4fun & cindy - there are 2 different versions of the fat smash. One is a 3 month one where you have different stages, detox, slowly allowing carbs, etc. I'm doing the 3 week diet and each day is planned for you, what to eat & how much exercise to do. It's really convenient for me right now because I'm so busy I don't have to come up with a menu and things, it's already there and I know "I'm eating yogurt and a piece of fruit for breakfast". The first week is mostly just veggies and fruit, yogurt and brown rice. The second week is a little more meat and you're allowed cereal a couple times. Week three is similar to week one. The premise is to keep your metabolism going throughout the day so there are four meals, but a meal may just be a boiled egg and a glass of juice. So it's low cal and low carb. Not sure how many calories it adds up to, but not a lot! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Alaina I am so proud of you and so glad that we have been so successful with this porgram. I am not able to weigh this week but I only need a 2 pound loss to make the 12 pounds Dr. Iam says you can lose in three weeks. The first three days were hard but now I am enjoying the meals and the system. I do not feel starved or deprived and I actually really enjoyed the week one plan more than week two!
Cannot wait to see you!
