Hi my name is Kim and I am 40 years old. I have been doing so much better with the support of this site and hope to eventually hit my goal weight here soon...

I have been battling my weight for years now after the birth of my second child. I have 3 children and in January 2007 I had a total hysterectomy and that has been the boiling point for my weight. Prior to that I had three other major surgeries in a year. I was at 145 Oct 2006 and was happy in a size 8/10 and then I got ill and the doctor put me on medications and gradually since then I have gained 60 pounds. I exercise, I eat right and it seems to be in vain. Now my depression over my weight has given in and I think I needed this site which was referred to me by a really close friend. Now I have several friends here on this site and I am hoping although I am in need of more weight loss than them that I can do this with their help and the strength in numbers of this site. I was at 230 7/1/10 and therefore the journey stopped there and so my life goal of battling weight gain began. I lost 55 pounds in the first six months and then in Feb 2011 I was stalled. I went and was able to maintain a weight for 4 months within 10 pounds. So I stepped it up a notch and with the beach in sight I have started to lose again.

The biggest thing for me is that I am a RN and I have this problem with no being able to practice what I preach. How can I teach someone about how to take care of their body if I cannot take care of my own.
I am a travel nurse and my ultimate goal is to be able to take an entire stretch of time off and thru hike the AT.

I love to be outdoors watching my kids play sports and geocaching with friends. If you are interested in geocaching check out the website at www.geocaching.com - it is a great form of fun and exercise!

p90x vs. insanity
I have P90x and it is super hard for someone who has lots of weight to lose and it requires pull ups and other things. I am watching the Insanity program on TV now and this one looks like yes it is really hard but maybe something I would be able to achieve better than the P90x as I did not see where there is any pull ups and other things and less dvds to master.

I am thinking I may sell my P90x and Slim in Six so I can purchase the Insanity to try it

It must be that some people are sensitive to them as I drink one shake and have one bar each day and it has been the thing that has I felt boosted my weight loss.

Deleting weight
I hope that is just it so I can get my weight and diet correct. It is frustrating and I know it is just a graph but it is my motivational tool

Deleting weight
I tried to fix my diet from my own to atkins and when I did it started a whole new graph and then I entered weights and it is all messed up.

Now when I try to restart my diet it gives me the fatsecret error page.

Can someone delete my graph so I can start all over!!!

I purched a brand new set of these from ebay and am wanting to really get into this program.
