So I've been emotionally eating...fell off the wagon since the holidays. I've had a hard time tracking b/c I can't afford weight watchers so I need a program to help me become accountable to myself. I decided to get started again with Fatsecret and try to take one day at a time to reach my goal weight. I'm hoping that the access to this program will help me stay on the straight. I know I can do it I just have to use my willpower.

I believe you can do it with FatSecret! There are people here to support you when you need them. But remember to ask!! I had a hard time with that at first when I joined. No one talked to me or commented on my journals. But the community is a great community! Remember to love yourself unconditionally during this process!!

I am new to Fatsecret too, so if you need a buddy, I am here for you. And I agree with alohaneen, I have been here for a while and have not gotten any comments or encouragment from other members yet, but I keep plugging along and I keep journaling. That is the main thing for me. That, and my weekly weigh ins on Friday. I don't go to WW meetings either. I am using the old point system because a friend gave me all her books and stuff when she upgraded to the newer version. My first goal was to lose 1/2 my weight by April and I have already almost reached that goal. It feels wonderful to be in a size smaller already. Good luck with your weight loss.
