I have been on this weight loss journey for over 4 years now. I am 7 months from my 39 birthday and I want my last year of my 30's to be fabulos! I have considered lap-band but I have been tasked with a 6 month monitored diet program prior to insurance approval of the procedure. Therefore I am going to take the next 6 months by the horns and go for it! I am decreasing the amount of red meat and pork from my cooking. I am eliminating soda's all together. I am increasing veggies, chicken, tuna and fish into my diet. Increasing my water intake and decreasing my alcohol consumption. I have prepared myself at work with snacks; nuts, pudding, applesauce, fruits. I bring my lunch that includes more veggies, peanut butter and turkey sandwiches. My husband has partnered with me on this journey and with these changes, my children will see a difference in our family dinners. With prayer and strength, I will meet my goal of 60lbs.
