i swear i am getting so frustrated. I followed phase 1 to a "T" yesterday hoping to get down a little bit more. I worked late so did yoga and gilad strength training and had a egg white omelette with 3 peices turkey bacon for dinner; 2 egg whites for breakfast, chicken and broccoli for lunch and water. NOthing on the scale budged this morning. my clothes are falling off of me so if it weren't for those changes, i would be ready to throw in the towel. I wonder if I am gaining muscle and not doing enough cardio... this really sucks, because while i din't have a ton of weight to lose, i am trying just as hard as everybody else and my loss has come to a standstill..i sound like a whiney brat...sorry...
130.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

yep,i know where you are coming from, did this SBD so strick for 10days staright, and got on the scale, NO BUDGING it ay all, wished i had never stepped on the scale, so i did start walking, and i am changing my eating for a few days, see what happens,i'll keep ya posted,ok> ?? I'm on atkins and lost 8 lbs the first week and then....nothing since (4 weeks). I know that I have lost inches because my clothes fit better and to be truthful that really is all I care about. However after just saying basically the same thing you just did to my husband yesterday (he's lost 13 and still going) I weighed this morning and I'm down .02...doesn't seem like much but I am below 141. Hang in there you've lost 8 lbs...that is AWESOME!! Muscle does weigh more then fat, so that could be one reason for the scale to "stick", but regardless somethings coming off or your clothes would be tight not lose, keep it up somethings working!

Hey now, no beating yourself up, nope, NOT allowed! lol :) Keep on keepin' on, you're doing great, and it WILL pay off!! Try to cut back on weighing only once or twice a week and you'll see it better and not be so frustrated. Getting worked up over one day is NOT worth it! Keep the negative out and the positive in! Negative will only continue your discouragement. If your clothes are fitting loser, then BAM GIRL FRIEND!! You're nailin' it! :) lol You're hard work will pay off, keep it up! :)

My doctor told me the only reason I'm losing this fast is because of my incredibly high BMI. She told me the higher your BMI the fast your loss, the lower your BMI the slower, since you don't have as much to lose as those wither higher BMI's. Hang in there, the loose clothes means more than the scale! Youre doing awesome! Like Bullytrouble said too, try weighing in less frequently. Best wishes to you!
