January 3, 2012: Today is a new day. It is a new year, and I am ok with my starting point. It is OK to start over. My goal is to lose from 229 to 209. In order to reach that goal, I must write down and record every thing I put in my mouth to keep me accountable. This is my plan. I am making a promise to myself to stay under 2000 calories daily and to exercise at least two times per week starting with 30 minutes each time and increasing to 45 per time three times per week.
I will also take the stairs at work every time the opportunity presents itself.

Took the Stairs today:
1+1+1+
229.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
