Maybe also look into a good food scale. I find that each time I measure, lets say, a up of broccoli, I get different amounts based on how finely i have chopped it. But a gram is a gram is a gram. Weighing is working very well for me as opposed to measuring. Good luck!!

Look for Perfect Portion Containers at Bed Bath and Beyond, WalMart, or Amazon, in the "As Seen On TV" sections. I also agree with ImLaura about using the food scale for items where size of pieces might affect the amount.

I know containers can work for some but for ME, I am a cheater. I can pack those babies full and call it good if I could get away with it, lol. weighing is a much better way for me to be honest with myself....
