Don't look at it as one big thing that needs to go. Divide it up into small milestones you need to pass, eg lose 4lbs by the end of the month then another 8lbs by the end of June. That's almost a stone right there. It didn't arrive overnight so it isn't going to go overnight. Make small changes to what you do and when they start having a good effect then do some more.
