A bit disappointed for first week weigh-in...I expected 5 lbs. But I also realize my lack of exercise and meds. contribute to how I lose. So, I'll take it and keep on keeping on.
214.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 49.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Please don't get discouraged. My scale hardly moved at all the first few weeks, but inches were lost. Taking measurements helps too. Whether you lost 3lbs, or your scale is being a butthead, you're moving in the right direction so be kind to yourself. You deserve nothing less 💗

Thank you Christine. I'm going to keep reminding myself to be kind to myself. So easy for me to be kind to others...gonna work on this!

Sometimes I have to remind myself that even if it isn't a loss, I'm NOT going backward. And I remind myself that regardless of what the scale says, I'm doing better things for my body and it's eventually going to get the memo and join the party. And yes, I DO talk to myself a lot! Please keep being kind to yourself both in what you do and in what you say!
