Been on atkins for 5 days..taking today off. Revamping tomorrow. Have lost 5 lbs since saturday
205.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 80.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

thats great you lost 5 lbs in 5 days but don't stop....seriously you eat bad today you will probably be up 5 lbs tomorrow keep going you can do it!!!!!!

I agree with Jill. Not to say you can never take a day off, but I did something similar on a previous Atkins-attempt and it did not end well!!!! Going off-plan in these early stages can cause problems and set yourself up for days off that occur more frequently and with less time in between. Ultimately, it's your decision. Good luck and congratulations on the loss of 5 pounds thus far.

Great job on the 5 pounds. Don't quit now, you're on fire! The beginning is very important to stick to the guidelines. The longer you keep out sugar and stay within the allowed net carbs (veggies) amount, the better. Cravings will eventually become less and less, and when you are ready to re-introduce other carbs - in later phases - your body will know what to do with them, and you will continue to burn fat.
