My left knee's been hurting again, so I skipped workouts for two days. I was pretty careful about the diet (despite it being my wife's birthday and having our favorite cake!) so I'm not terribly disappointed with only a one-pound gain over the weekend.

I've started taking gloucosamine to help with the knee.

The knee felt better today so I did 45 minutes (511 calories) on the elliptical stepper. The knee was a bit stiff after the workout.

188.0 lb Lost so far: 17.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.3 lb a week

That's terrible about your kneee, I'm sorry to hear about it acting up again. I wonder... is there's an exercise you can do that is easier on your knee than the eliptical? It's certainly better than running or some other high impact activity, but maybe swimming or something else would be even lower impact and easier on your knee. Not sure what it would be, though. Hope you improve soon.
