Just wanting something simple and easy that I don't have to think about for a while. I 90% wont lose all of my weight doing this, but 10-20 lbs would be fine. The shakes and bars are yummy and adding in some baby carrots or an apple with a regular dinner works just fine for me.
The old, fit Jessica would not consider this an okay option. The nearly 200 pound, tired and physically hurting Jessica says this is an okay choice for the start of things.

Years ago, I lost weight on Slim Fast. It's definitely a way to give yourself a kick-start of portion control and weight loss. There's nothing wrong with that! Good luck!
