well, its comming off.... and i just got my gym membership in the mail, now to go and do their little introduction thing then i can start working out whenever i want! (i love 24 hr gyms) and then im pretty sure that number will go even faster... maybe. lets not get too excited :) lol.
286.6 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 136.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yay for gym memberships. I wasn't going to join one but I really love my time there. It was very helpful to be around people (even if I didn't talk to them) that were trying to get or stay fit. It's a good motivator as long as you don't let yourself get discouraged because of the way other members look. There are some girls at my gym that make me want to cry they are so skinny but I use that as a motivation to go harder and faster. Keep it up, you are doing GREAT!!

thats what always got to me before when i used to go to the gym. i lasted about a week before i fell into a depression black hole. :( however, armed with pandora blaring i shall try to down out the snickers of the fat girl trying to run. hey, at least im at the gym and not on my couch, right? in other news... i got a package from atkins today with yummy bars and calorie counting things. as i browse and eat a free bar(very tasty by the way) they come scrolling in two xlarge pizzas. double meat double cheese. double YUMMY. i locked myself in my room with my water and atkins bar blocking out the aroma. lol. oh diet pains lol. the gym has to take me through some orientation thing before i can go... i guess so i use the machines properly. what they dont know is ive tried 4 gyms in the past 7 years and gone through all of the machines they possibly could have and when i did dance and tennis i lived in the gym. blah. oh well, looks like i start going to the gym NEXT WEEK! and thank goodness because we are getting rain ALL weekend so i cant walk at night like i was :( all i can do is some yoga and stuff inside. i was using can peaches at weights this morning :p

I'm very fortunate in that my gym has ALOT of people who are trying to lose weight. There are a good number of skinny-minnies who are exercising but NO one is using the gym as a way to meet members of the opposite sex (at least as far as I can tell). The gym I koined is supposed to be "judgement free" (not sure if that really exists). Don't let anyone get you down. You working on taking control of your body and that is a FABULOUS and INSPIRING thing. Think about it? How many people sit around everyday and let the world do with them what it may. But YOU! You have taken a stand and decided to be the master of your own body. It's such a wonderful process and something to be PROUD of. That's the pep talk I give myself when I feel like quiting, lol.
