Its been quite a few weeks.. I have lost 21lb since starting on Jan 6. My blood pressure fell every day for the first week. I called my Dr. and cut one of my meds in half. It is still running lower than normal. If anyone had told me that my diet was keeping my blood pressure in the danger range for forty years I would have said they were crazy but, obviously thats the case. I see my Dr. on Wed and he will order a complete blood panel and for the first time in my life I can't wait to see what the numbers are!

It was fun dragging out all the clothes I had stuffed into the attic a few months ago. Now I have to decide if I pitch the "fat" clothes or store them?
280.2 lb Lost so far: 13.8 lb.    Still to go: 60.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

My diet doc says that you must give away clothes once you've reached a new low. Saving old, bigger sizes gives you an excuse. If you have no clothes to fit into, you are more inspired to drop the pounds to fit comfortably in your clothes again. It works- I've been giving sizes away as I leave them for about a year now. Once my clothes feel tight again, I know it's time to get serious and about a week later, I am back on track.
