well my first disappointing weigh in.. flattened out over the past few days. Hopefully this changes over the next week.

So after two weeks of being on induction although I have lost 8 lbs which is good i have lost nothing over the last three to four days.

I guess its keeping to the induction phase for at least another week.

I am determined to get to my goal weight this time around.

This week I start adding in cardio at least 4 days a week.

Will start off with walking at least two miles each day at least four days a week.
187.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 17.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.5 lb a week

That's a lot of weight in two weeks. Your body might just be adjusting to such a big loss. You don't have a lot to lose so it would be normal to slow down to a pound or two a week. Just stay on your plan and exercise and I am sure you will be at goal in no time.

Everyone's body is different...8lbs is a fantastic start! keep up the good work. One suggestion if I may...I think you need to get more of your carbs from vegetables. The easiest way to do that is try adding about 2-4 cups of romaine lettuce to your daily diet. Romaine is low in carbs and helps with the weight loss. One of the things I've been reading is that even if you stick to the fat/protein ratio, it doesn't work as well unless you are getting at least 12-15 net carbs a day from veggies. Good luck!

You need to move on to OWL. Remember that you are supposed to loose the majority of your weight on OWL. Pre-maintenance starts 10#s from goal weight. That means that you only have 7#s to loose on OWL. If you don't move on, and do OWL correctly, I can guarentee that you will gain it all back and be doing this again in a few years. You need to learn how to eat correctly for the rest of your life, not just to take the weight off fast. Also, the more times you yo-yo diet, the harder it is to take off..and the older you are the harder it is. Get everything out of this plan that you can.
