I started low carbing because I was going up on low calorie. I think it's true what they say about water weight

Absolutely. The body retains 2.7 gr of water for every gram of glycogen, which is what carbohydrate is converted to that isn't turned to fat. Don't confuse this with fat loss. For fat loss it is only calories, thought cico seems to be fairly flexible. Log all your food and weigh everything that can be weighed. It was amazing to me how generous I was being with portions when I finally bought my scale.
