exumfats's Journal, 20 September 2015

Stuck in the middle, or just stuck. I eat properly & if I live long enough, will probably get to 215. Unless there is a secret I've not learned, it matters not how much, or how little I eat. Doesn't matter when I eat. The amount of water I drink, or don't. Low carb or Paleo is my choice. If I eat Weight Watcher's for example I'll gain 5 or more pounds a week. I exercise all I can & then some.
The good news is I've lost 2 inches in my waist. My BP, Lipids, Glucose, & all other medical tests are perfect or very near to it. My Arthritis seems to be getting worse though.
So I'll stick to what I'm doing & hope for the best, as I do for all here at Fat Secret.
229.0 lb Lost so far: 46.0 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
steady weight

I'm not going to give you any cliches or platitudes; I just think that sticking to your instincts is probably the best thing for all of us - trust your gut feeling :)

Steeler Mummah is right (btw, congratulations SM, I saw the game :-) ). As long as you're losing inches, you're in the right direction. Hard to believe it when the scale doesn't give supportive information. But muscle weighs more than fat & burns calories more than fat, so you're doing good changes

And we're all in this together :) That's what keeps me going at times. It's a bit like a personalized therapy session lol

Staying with what is working for you is a main stay, but with all the informaation available here some tweeking here and there might help find the resistance your body is having. Look at me Im stuck too. So off on tweeking and back to my basics (main stay). Amen to you and yours from me and mine Shalom all Blessings.
