OK OK OK...I have to admit that I had a very bad week last week! I was in NY with my sisters and two friends for the US Open and we ate whatever we wanted and ate Italian food (pasta, bread AND desserts three nights in a row)!!!
All of the walking saved me or else I know that I would have gained more weight!
I am having a hard time giving up the Diet Dr. Pepper! I know I shouldn't drink it, but it is a bad habit...any tips??
Renewed sense of motivation due to all of the posts here, thanks everyone for sharing!
If anyone is interested, I will be posting recipes for induction friendly cheesecake(3 carbs a serving), lasagna and some products that I use for low carb pizza and pancakes which I really like and use weekly!

just cut back on the diet dr pepper...you don't have to completely cut it out!

I'm horribly addicted to Diet Dr Pepper too, man. I've been trying to cut back. Or if I want one, I make myself drink a couple of glasses of h20 before I drink a can of it.

From my perspective, if I find something that is 'legal' and it isn't causing cravings, etc--I stick with it. I don't think there is a reason to 'give-up' our simple pleasures--we are giving up carbs--we don't need to strive for perfection! (my opinion only of course :)

thats what i started doing too if i want soda i have to drink water 1st a whole 16oz or no soda its great way to get your water in.
