Ok, I am done with being too sick to walk (past winter) and done with my husband being sick and dying and done with the giant, 80+ guests, memorial party in the garden and 4 houseguests for 5 days to be here for it.

Now begins a new chapter in my life. I am not on someone elses schedule!

After 10 years of caring for my husband with dementia I have not just physical but mental freedom. I tuned up my bicycle and took it for a short ride to the library and the grocery store yesterday. I will incorporate more riding in my life. I will continue to go to water aerobics 3 days a week and add a fourth when I can.

I will pay attention to what i am eating (again) and get back into the groove of eating for nutrition and not because i want to. I know i can lose wt (again) but this time there is a possibility of keeping it off as i won't be distracted by other responsibilities. My only responsibility from here on is myself.

206.2 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.9 lb a week
