The fluctuations continue ... I feel bloated this morning ... probably accounts for the increase. Not sure why but whatever it is, it will pass. This morning I am "dragging" so of course I dressed up ... hoping it would make me feel perkier!! Don't know if it will work but I look good!! LOL!!! I continue to work on being "in the moment" and trying to stay as positive as possible. It is difficult as dear hubby isn't ... "in the moment" or particularly positive. Flaxseed: I know you know exactly what I am talking about. So ... I'll just keep plodding along ... and do the best I can. I don't like feeling grumpy and irritable. Oh well. This too shall pass.

My five for today ... (digging deep my friends!!!)

1. Our woodshed is now 3/4 full!
2. Mexico is just a little over a week away!!
3. I have ZERO appointments today so should be able to get some paperwork done!
4. My mom was able to enjoy her weekend and get away from us!
5. Hubby cleaned out the fridge and did the kitchen floor yesterday!

Life goes on and so do I. I am grateful for what I have ... really I am ... I am just cranky. Fortunately I have some respite not too far in the future and I hope it helps to re-charge my batteries. Have a good day my friends ... and I truly hope you all are feeling more perky than I am on this Monday morning!!

Wow, you are such an amazing inspiration to me. You have so much on your plate with your husband and such, yet you keep going, trying to do, and to be your best - are you are. I love the idea of dressing fancy when you feel down - thats a really good one. I really do have the best buddies on here! And if you ever need a sholder, I'm always here for you. I know exactly where you're comin from. Its so hard tostay positive and make the best of every moment when you've got a little black cloud along side you. I've come to the conclusion that weight fluctuations come with the stress and the up and down emotions. I can clearly remember (with shame and guilt - why do I always feel guilty?) asking my dear OH whether he wanted me to remember him as a nasty,grumpy, bad tempered old man when he was no longer here. I now just plod along, smiling sweetly and ignoring the negatives. I try to make time for me now without feeling guilty about it. Keep your chin up. Big hugs.

Flaxseed - You made me smile!! I too am doing my best just to "plod along, smiling sweetly and ignoring the negatives!" My dear hubby on a good day is not the most positive man in the world so I understand that he is struggling. It sounds trite perhaps but knowing that I have others, like you here, who really understand really helps me. Keeps me grounded and relatively sane!! Mbhpro - YES!!! I started packing this weekend ... I only need to throw in underthings & ditty bag!!! MoTG - Silly as it sounds the dressing up thing does help!! and ... I so appreciate your available shoulder ... I am just doing the best I can ... today is really all we have so I might as well do my best to make the most of it!! All you are dear to me!! Thanks!!

I know that feeling too well. Cranky but we know we are still blessed. somehow we still can't get out of the funk! It just takes a day or two. Thank you for your comment on my pic!
