I can accept the weight gain, it's the mindset of "I'm hungry" when I know I'm not. UGH. Need a few days to get the excess carbs out of my system.

Ahh, the fun of getting back into routine! 😜

Takes a week to lose it and a day to gain it back. Life is not fair!!

Yeah, but if it were just as easy to lose as it is to gain, we wouldn’t all get to hang out on the internets together. We’d be doing something more productive, most likely... 😜

Took my bloods this morning. Blood glucose at 4.9, very happy it didn't go up. Ketones dropped to 0.3 NOT happy about that. So another day of broth & turkey, little to no carbs. Perfectly fine with that as hubby has been taking leftovers to work.

In my little world, I couldn’t care less but to you I know it’s important. Glad your bloods remained controlled…I know nothing about pee…😂😂

I don't do pee sticks. They aren't reliable. You can have high ketones just from being dehydrated. As a diabetic, I was eligible for the combination ketone/glucose monitor, so it's all blood based. I aim for over 1.0, have had it as high as 3.3 for a few weeks, but typically it hovers around 1.2.
