Motivated's Journal, 06 August 2007

Day 14; Keto Large; Body fat 38.7%; 2.5 hr 15 mi bike ride; breakfast atkins chocolate shake; lunch hamburger patty w cheese, salad, coffee; dinner chef's salad, ranch dressing, lots of iced tea at lunch and dinner. Bike ride was surprisingly easy--thought I might have muscle fatigue at this stage of the diet. The day before I forgot to mention I felt weak, headache and was nauseated. I attribute that to not eating enough the day before.

If I hadn't tracked my weight on prior diets, I would be discouraged by the steady weight over the last several days. While I would love the scale to show my hard work, I know that it will next week. My clothes fit better, and MOST importantly--I feel in control of my eating!
152.0 lb Lost so far: 6.8 lb.    Still to go: 17.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
gaining 1.4 lb a week

Wow! I wish I could ride a bike that far. I would eat more protein though. You burned a lot of calories. Good luck!!
