bestees.au's Journal, 19 April 2023

I am so happy and grateful that my journey is continuing in the direction I want. I am even surprising myself with my mindset and work ethic. It is hard to believe it is me. Thank you God for your blessings.

Finally I got to my second milestone of 85kgs. To say I am stoked is even an understatement. I am pleasantly happy with the result. However, the goal is still out there as my final milestone. I am confident that I will achieve it slowly and steadily.

I want to share this journey with others and provide inspiration that it is possible to lose considerable body weight if we have the right mindset to follow through. The feeling of being light and able to be flexible to do things is new to me and I am loving it. My confidence, self-belief and self-image is at different levels. I am starting to realise even my tone of voice has changed (not the arrogance sort), more clear.

I am also very greatful to the creators of this app, and people in this community that always there to support each other. Kudos to the community. ❤️❤️❤️

Keep going on the journey. I am sure more doors are opening for me. 🫶🫶🫶

Awesome 🎉 I am still constantly amazed at how wonderfully designed our bodies are... even after years of overindulgence it seems everything seems to still know how to respond when we start to look after ourselves (well... maybe apart from certain things like skin that has been overstretched for too long 😬)

@lizpackard09 Thank you. Absolutely true. Not only overindulgence but also years of neglect by not giving it what it should have been given. I wonder when only we can realise that since our bodies are so caring and responding why shouldn't we look after it with care and nourishment it deserves. I know I am talking about it in third person, metaphorically speaking. We need to trick our mindset to believe our bodies deserve better treatment from us. I have seen people getting their skins back to normal with regular exercises. I understand it's not for everyone, but it's possible.
