zackzullo's Journal, 17 April 2023

Been gone for a bit because life decided to come at me on all angles and nearly whooped me. I was very depressed and running on fumes constantly. I fell to the wayside and didn't think I was gonna come back, I thought, this was it, this was my weight, but I have slowly crawled back getting back down to the weight I was at before I left here.

Thankfully the scale didn't totally abandon me and I was not only to pick back u where I was, but I've moved it a few more pounds since then. I'm in clothes I haven't worn since 2007, and my new belt I bought, I already had to add another hole into it. My stamina is incredible now, and doing outside work seems more like fun, and not a chore. If you had told me these things were gonna happen, I would have said "yeah okay, nice thought", but yet here I am telling you these exact things because I've personally done them.

Not all victories are done on that scale, some are mental, some are emotional, and some are physical, regardless what victory it is, a win is a great thing, and a failure just means you're not quite there yet, it doesn't mean you actually failed. That word is very misconstrued in society in its definition. Change your mind, change your effort, change your surroundings, change something, because thats when you're going to get the some of best results, when you change it up! Keep going! I love you all! Our journey is not over, its only beginning! 🤗🥰

Thank you for sharing this. You are amazing. 124kg lost and only 24 more to go. Re failure - my favourite quote is thomas edison, after attempting to create a light bulb and failing about 1000 times he was asked if he wanted to give up and he said 'i have not failed 1000 times, I have simply identified 1000 methods that don't work.' and then he went on to find a way that worked. :D

Failure only comes when you STOP. I don’t see you stopping. I see you take a PAUSE to get your head together, then CONTINUING ON. That is not failure by anyone’s definition. Keep going. The outside is so good for our mental health
