I just took out the book "The End of Dieting" by Joel Furhman from the library. I want to keep it to keep going back into it... in it He explains what is going on when our bodies no longer are able to loose weight. People have become so healthy that they overcame cancers, diabetes, etc. I never thought of myself as someone to be able to eat like this for life but the cravings for other foods are leaving as I am making the change. I read your comment here and thought it might be something you are interested in looking into. I wish you well!

You seem to be up and down the same pounds. I would try and eat 1300 calories a day for a week and be 100% on plan. If you go down, then it's something you are or not doing that's making you yo-yo. Are you tracking all your food honestly? Bites, licks and tastes can add up and make you yo-yo. Are you drinking water? It flushes out sodium and keeps thing moving. Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? Processed foods contain tons of sodium and can inhibit weight loss in some. Are you eating the right amount of calories to help you lose? Are you eating too many calories? Are you constantly going on and off plan causing you to yo-yo on the scale? Protein, good fats and high fiber foods help with weight loss the best. Are you varying your foods? Your body gets used to the same thing. Are you varying your exercise? Are you being "meh" with your diet? Sometimes we only work the plan a little so we don't get the results we want. If you are honestly not losing, it may be time to talk to doctor to find out if there is a medical problem.
